Meet The Team

Hi, my name is Faith and I am the founder of Beacon Minds. My interest in mental health was sparked when my sister was born with down syndrome, and I was exposed to early mental health tribulations that she would have to face. I finally put this interest into impact by starting this organization, centered around education and advoccay. Thank you so much for all your support!

Hi, I’m Sukhmani Bajaj, a junior at Cary Grove High-School hoping to one day pursue a career as a psychiatrist! I know how transformative loving, open, and judgment-free support can be, so I'm deeply committed to helping people access the care they need in any way I can, big or small. Through combining compassion, a passion for psychology, and community outreach, I hope to do my part with Beacon Minds to break down the barriers to mental health care accessibility!

I’m Saloni Raja and I’m a Freshman at Plainfield North High School. Driven by the belief that mental health is just as important as physical health, I’ve joined Beacon Minds to help foster a community where mental health and physical health are both prioritized equally for all. Inspired by several of my family members in the healthcare field, I believe that mental health plays a significant role in our overall wellbeing, and I aim to ensure that everyone feels supported in prioritizing their mind just as much as their body.

Sam is an AuDHD autism researcher and recent psychology graduate whose work is driven by a strong commitment to mental health and neurodiversity advocacy. Through Beacon Minds, Sam aims to make a meaningful impact by supporting research, awareness, and inclusive practices for neurodivergent communities.
