About the Founder
Faith Lee
Hi! My name is Faith, and I'm a junior in high school. Growing up with a sister who has Down Syndrome, I have had constant exposure to various behavioral and cognitive differences various people face. I didn't realize it at the time, but that planted the seed of interest for me in psychology. Later on, as I began spending more time with my taekwondo travel team, I was able to verbalize and confirm my behavioral and cognitive interest as psychology. After exploring the field for a bit, I discovered my main interest in mental health.
After learning about areas with significant mental health challenges for various reasons, I wanted to make a change in the community. I'm not a therapist (though I'd love to be someday!) so I looked for other ways I could help. I based this project on the Tenderloin, an area relatively close to me. I hope you find this website helpful! Feel free to reach out as well :)

Outside of school and Beacon Minds, I enjoy practicing taekwondo and art!
